--Zhongtan New Materials Holds 2024 Work Summary and 2025 Work Arrangement Conference
To summarize the company’s production and business operations in 2024 and discuss development strategies for 2025, the annual conference was held at the lecture hall of Longbai Management College on the morning of January 21. Video branch venues were set up in Meeting Room 308 of Zhongtan New Materials and Lufeng, Yunnan.
Senior executives attended the meeting. More than 160 participants including department heads, award recipients, management backbones and staff representatives took part. The conference was presided over by Liu Xipeng, Deputy Minister of the General Affairs Department.
Liu Yongbo, Board Chairman, delivered an important speech. He stated that the company shall adopt a pragmatic and rational attitude in 2025, objectively assess current conditions and difficulties, and cope with challenges head-on. He outlined a clear strategic roadmap covering seven core aspects: market positioning, cost reduction and efficiency improvement, compliance management, safety and environmental protection control, innovation and quality upgrading, talent cultivation and employee care.
First, pinpoint market orientation and enhance efficient coordination. Strengthen integration of production, supply and sales to balance output and sales volume. Advance dual reduction measures to ensure steady operation and optimize business indicators driven by sales.
Second, tap potential to cut costs and boost efficiency via innovation. Foster cost awareness, explore profit growth potential, dispose idle assets properly and seek new ways to improve benefits through technological innovation.
Third, consolidate compliance management to underpin corporate development. Improve rules and regulations, standardize operational procedures and reinforce risk control.
Fourth, tighten safety and environmental governance for sustainable growth. Raise staff awareness, perfect inspection mechanisms and standardize on-site operation safety management.
Fifth, prioritize innovation and quality as the lifeline of the enterprise. Upgrade production techniques and optimize the comprehensive quality management system.
Sixth, build talent teams to fuel new growth. Optimate staffing allocation, recruit skilled professionals, carry out mentor-mentee training and advance technological renovation to rationalize manpower demand.
Seventh, care for employees and safeguard decent employment. Protect legitimate staff rights, broaden career development paths and build a safe, comfortable and humanized working environment.
Feng Jun, Party Secretary and General Manager, delivered the 2024 work report and arranged tasks for 2025. He remarked that the company encountered greater-than-expected challenges last year amid fierce industrial competition, with internal deficiencies remaining to be solved. He put forward six requirements for the new year.
First, stay pragmatic and resolute to ensure full implementation of all assigned tasks with clear objectives, schedules and responsibilities.
Second, focus on goals and strive for high-quality products by improving quality management systems, training and data-based inspection.
Third, enforce rigorous supervision to guarantee production safety, enhance emergency response capacity and regular safety education.
Fourth, pursue refined and civilized production consistently to lift productivity and lower operational costs.
Fifth, keep learning to improve comprehensive competence, enhance adaptability and corporate image.
Sixth, strengthen work style construction with integrity and strict discipline, and firmly rectify improper conduct.
He encouraged all staff to abandon perfunctory attitudes, stay resilient and strive for excellence, so as to secure profits and sustain sound corporate development.
Executives Liu Zhipu, Huang Sixin, He Yongkang and Zheng Xinglong reviewed key work including project construction, production operation, procurement, sales, technology, quality, energy consumption and process indicators, and formulated work plans for 2025.
The journey ahead is arduous yet promising. All employees shall unite as one, confront difficulties with solidarity and perseverance, strive for corporate survival and growth, and strive for fruitful achievements in 2025.
