--- 2024 Semi-annual Work Summary Conference of Zhongtan New Materials
To systematically review production, operation and all completed work in the first half of 2024, and arrange follow-up work against internal and external situations, the company held the semi-annual work summary conference at the lecture hall of Longbai Management College on the morning of July 30. Branch venues were set up locally and in Lufeng, Yunnan. More than 150 participants including senior executives, department heads and staff representatives attended the meeting, which was presided over by Qiao Bo, Minister of General Affairs Department.
The conference summarized achievements, analyzed current situations and existing deficiencies, and rolled out comprehensive arrangements for the second half of the year, striving to secure steady corporate progress amid difficulties.
Han Jianhua, Board Chairman, delivered an important speech. He conducted in-depth analysis on current production and operation status, emphasizing that sound working atmosphere is essential to high efficiency. The company will strengthen implementation, optimize work style and rebuild positive working atmosphere. He put forward key tasks for the second half: fulfill adjusted sales revenue targets, attain dual reduction goals, cut costs while upgrading product quality, accelerate R&D of anode materials and high-end products, streamline staffing to boost efficiency, and advance project commissioning to realize full-capacity production and economic benefits of the Yunnan project as soon as possible.
His remarks helped all staff gain clear understanding of the situation and clarified development directions. The team will seize opportunities amid crises, tap potential from challenges and forge ahead steadily.
Feng Jun, Party Secretary and General Manager, delivered the semi-annual work report, elaborating on operational performance and arranging key follow-up tasks. He acknowledged achievements while calling for clear awareness of shortcomings, and set forth relevant requirements. First, prioritize dual reduction by reducing accounts receivable and optimizing procurement management of spare parts. Second, take quality improvement and efficiency enhancement as long-term development priority and strengthen whole-process production supervision. Third, improve professional competence of foreign trade personnel and expand overseas markets. Fourth, enhance staff training management and assessment to elevate training effectiveness. Fifth, tighten discipline construction and strictly implement rules and regulations issued by the group and the company.
Responsible executives Liu Zhipu, Huang Sixin, He Yongkang and Zheng Xinglong respectively reported work progress and made subsequent plans concerning Zhongzhou-Lufeng project, marketing business, anode materials and graphite products, demonstrating firm determination and practical efforts to pursue growth against odds.
Upholding the spirit of forging ahead against pressure and breaking bottlenecks, the conference charted the course for medium and long-term development and boosted staff morale, laying a solid foundation for high-quality development. Boasting a 60-year development history, Zhongtan New Materials will unite all employees to confront difficulties bravely, pursue innovation amid challenges, grow through hardships, tide over adversities and embrace new glories together.
