——Zhongtan New Materials Conducts Thermal Oil Leakage Emergency Drill
In response to the 2025 Work Safety Month campaign and enhance staff emergency response capacity, the company held a thermal oil furnace leakage emergency drill in the calcination workshop on June 13, organized by Deputy General Manager He Yongkang. Over 60 employees from functional departments and production workshops took part, verifying the rationality and effectiveness of emergency plans under practical simulation scenarios.
The drill kicked off at 2 p.m. On-site operators reported the thermal oil leakage to the emergency command center. Deputy General Manager He Yongkang immediately activated the emergency response plan. Ten teams including rescue, security alert, medical care and logistics support assembled within 8 minutes.
Equipped with protective gear and professional tools, the rescue team sealed the leakage point to stop oil spread. The security team set up warning lines, evacuated irrelevant personnel and posted warning signs to avoid secondary accidents. The medical team stood by ready for rescue, while the logistics team dispatched emergency supplies to guarantee on-site operations.
The whole drill proceeded in an orderly manner. All teams fulfilled respective duties and operated efficiently in line with emergency procedures. Leakage sealing, site cleaning and environmental monitoring were finished within 20 minutes, bringing the incident fully under control.
Deputy General Manager He Yongkang stated that the drill helps staff respond rapidly following standard procedures and minimize casualties and economic losses. The activity tested the practicality of emergency schemes, strengthened safety accountability and improved team coordination, laying a solid foundation for steady and safe production.
