——Company Holds Mobilization Meeting on Labor Efficiency Improvement for Machining Workshop
Faced with intensified industrial competition and upgraded customer demands, the company convened a mobilization meeting at 8 a.m. on May 13 to tap production potential, optimize resource allocation and raise labor efficiency. The session was presided over by Feng Jun, Party Secretary and General Manager.
Liu Binbin, Workshop Director, reported current labor efficiency status and existing problems. He pledged to lead all staff to further expand production capacity and guarantee delivery schedules in compliance with corporate requirements. Full-time team leaders Wu Jingge and Li Gen stated their commitments to safe production, higher equipment operation rate, refined on-site management as well as improved productivity and product quality. Staff representatives expressed readiness to uphold the spirit of learning, competing and helping each other, and strictly abide by corporate rules.
Su Guangming, Minister of Quality Management Department, promised to assist with collaborative design and material selection to boost efficiency, and called for cooperation in repairing product cracks so as to improve quality. Zhang Gaofeng, Deputy Minister of Production Department, urged unified mindset and enhanced work standards, speed and execution. The department will mobilize resources to fully support production. Liu Xipeng, Deputy Minister of General Affairs Department, delivered a report on salary assessment, stressing refined on-site management, elimination of seven major wastes and TPM equipment maintenance.
Secretary Feng pointed out that boosting labor efficiency is a long-term priority to fulfill monthly production plans. Centering on gaining benefits from efficiency, the workshop shall advance work with full staff participation, scientific strategies and targeted efforts. Lean concepts will run through the whole production process to maximize equipment utilization, refine technical procedures and upgrade professional skills, achieving substantial improvement in labor efficiency. Relevant departments shall properly handle raised issues and deliver supportive supervision. He noted that standardized meticulous operation creates corporate benefits, and encouraged labor contests with rewards and penalties to mobilize working enthusiasm.
As the final process of electrode manufacturing, the workshop shall attach great importance to quality control and operational details, raise finished product yield and qualified rate, and cut defective rate. It is expected to achieve remarkable progress in efficiency improvement and fuel the company’s high-quality development.
